Behind-the-Scenes with 8-Figure Membership Owner, Corinne Crabtree of No BS Women (Part 1 of 2)

Corinne Crabtree is the founder of No BS Weightloss, an 8-figure membership, a Master Certified Life Coach, and recently launched the No BS Business Women membership. In part 1, she is going to break down for you how she got to this place, where she is now, and the vision and the challenges facing her in the future. Part 2, coming next week, will be a Q&A where she is answering questions submitted by you.

We are  going to be chatting about business, life, leadership and all the things that she and I talk about in her living room. Here are  5 takeaways you are going to want to pay attention to:

  1. Setting Goals and Understanding Numbers: Corinne’s  journey from starting her weight loss business charging $5.95 to growing it into an 8-figure membership involved setting clear goals and understanding her business's financial numbers. She realized the importance of setting goals, working backwards to determine the number of customers required, and then figuring out how to reach those customers through various strategies like Facebook Live and launches.

  2. Charging for Value and Profitability: Corinne emphasized the importance of charging based on the value and impact a business provides rather than setting prices solely based on personal self-worth. She also stressed the significance of maintaining a healthy profit margin in the business. Learning about numbers, knowing the financial health of the business, and taking a paycheck are crucial aspects of building a successful and sustainable venture.

  3. Building a Strong Team: As the business grew, Corinne recognized the need for hiring help to manage different aspects. She started with an assistant and then a community manager to support her Facebook group, recognizing the value of bringing in someone with complementary skills and strengths. Over time, she expanded her team to 30 people in various roles, enabling her to focus on her strengths while others contribute their expertise to the business.

  4. Prioritize Fulfillment Alongside Marketing: Corinne emphasizes the importance of investing in the fulfillment side of the business, especially in a membership model. While marketing is crucial, focusing on providing excellent service, coaching, and community support is equally essential. When growing a membership or any business, don't neglect the aspect of delivering value and ensuring customer satisfaction. Consider building a team that can provide exceptional customer service, which will ultimately contribute to the long-term success and retention of your clients.

  5. Community and Caring for Your Team: Corinne's success stems from her genuine care for her community and her team. She believes that a strong community not only benefits your clients but also your team members. Treating your team well, paying them competitively, and creating a positive work environment can foster loyalty, dedication, and better customer service. Additionally, drawing from her experience in the restaurant industry, she values those experiences as pivotal in developing strong customer service skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. Building a culture of care, both for clients and team members, can set your business apart and contribute to its growth.
